Miller Comments on Drop in Patent Infringement Claims in Texas
September 24, 2018
Houston Chronicle
Partner Terrell Miller was quoted in a Houston Chronicle article, “Crackdown on dubious patent infringement claims reduces lawsuits,” about a decline in the number of patent infringement complaints filed in Texas during the first half of 2018.
Miller said the decline in patent litigation in the Eastern District of Texas is not surprising, given that the number of new filings has been dropping for a couple of years. “But there are early signs the pendulum may be starting to swing back a little to the plaintiffs,” he said.
