Managed Healthcare Executive
Partner Jana Kolarik was quoted in a Modern Healthcare Executive article, “The Future of Stark Law,” about possible revisions to the 30-year-old Stark Law, which governs physician self-referrals for Medicare and Medicaid patients.
Kolarik said many health care executives are calling for changes in the law. “Lack of flexibility in cost-sharing arrangements and the complexity of the Start Law guidance has led healthcare execs to call for reform,” she said.
