Neuberger Quoted in Compliance Week About Navigating Return to the Workplace Post-Pandemic

Of Counsel Mark Neuberger was quoted in the Compliance Week article, “Navigating the return of employees to the workplace,” about the legal and ethical steps businesses will need to take when they reopen.
“It used to be that you needed a note from your doctor to return to work. Employers could hang their hat on that,” Neuberger said.“In this crazy environment, it’s tough to get a doctor to sign off.”
Employers still have the right to tell an employee it’s too soon to return to work.
“I think employers have to be overly cautious,” he said
