Partner Kathryn Trkla’s work in developing model rules as co-chair of a special American Bar Association Committee to develop model Part 190 Rules was recognized by CFTC Chairman Tarbert.
Tarbert commended Trkla and her co-chair Vincent Lazar for their roles steering the subcommittee which recommended adoption and created model rules for amendments to the CFTC’s Park 190 commodity broker bankruptcy rules.
The subcommittee also received The Chairman’s Award for Regulatory Excellence to the ABA Part 190 Subcommittee for its contributions to the agency’s rulemaking.
