Partner Don Schroeder was quoted in a Business Insurance article entitled “Biden’s attack on noncompetes raises concerns for brokerages,” which focuses on President Biden’s recent executive order asking the Federal Trade Commission to ban or limit noncompete agreements.
Commenting on how the FTC is likely to proceed, Schroeder noted that he does not expect “some kind of wholesale change that is so dramatic that it would face extreme opposition” in the courts as that would “likely result in litigation which would just tie it up anyway.”
