Javare Peart
Patent Engineer
Javare Peart brings multidisciplinary experience in physics and computers to his role as a patent engineer in Foley’s Electronics Practice, providing crucial support to clients throughout the patent application process.
While earning his bachelor’s degree, Javare developed his skillset through various projects, research, and internships. One notable internship was with 3M, where he worked on creating Python scripts to automate testing procedures for different machines in the access industry. He also contributed to the development of a new voting mechanism using an AWS Cloud Database and fingerprint detection sensors. In terms of research experience, Javare used Verilog programming language to program a Basys-3 field-programmable gate array (FPGA), which was used as a PID controller to assist in stabilizing lasers. The application helped to identify moments of resonance in a wide range of solid fibers, important in laser-based research and experimentation.
During his final semester in college, Javare worked part-time at Foley supporting the firm’s Washington, D.C. patent prosecution team.
