Foley & Lardner LLP Partner Nathaniel Lacktman is quoted in the HealthLeaders article, “ATA Urges Clinicians to Take Charge, Own Virtual Care Innovation,” which provides a summary of what telehealth leaders discussed at the ATA2022 Annual Conference & Expo put on by the American Telemedicine Association.
The telehealth landscape is still unsettled in the wake of the pandemic, due in large part to an uncertain path forward on policy and regulations, and now the focus is on being innovative with tools and platforms to advance health care.
“The last couple of years have been a sandbox,” said Lacktman, chair of Foley’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team and member of the ATA board of directors, during one panel discussion focused on the future of virtual care. “Building upon that, we’ll create programs that are more meaningful.”
