福莱律师事务所合伙人鲁本·迪亚兹在《拉丁金融》刊发的 《"超级多数"担忧致墨西哥并购活动萎缩》一文中,针对墨西哥执政党左翼阵营(由当选总统克劳迪娅·谢恩鲍姆领导)近期选举获胜的态势,评估了该国并购前景。
迪亚兹指出,鉴于执政党有望在国会获得绝对多数席位,加之对宪法可能修改的担忧,墨西哥今年的并购活动可能下滑20%。他表示:"至少短期内,我们预计外来投资将减少。"他解释称,谢恩鲍姆的胜选对提振投资者在墨西哥进行并购的意愿几乎没有帮助。
迪亚兹指出,选举后"左翼势力始终构成阻碍,如今更加强大",这至少在短期内造成了不确定性,"因为人们认为(投资环境)将维持现状或进一步恶化"。
“正因如此,人们才抱有‘且看事态发展’的态度,”他补充道。
