Foley & Lardner LLP continues to be recognized as a top-performing firm in Harrity Patent Analytics’ 2026 Top Patent Firms, ranking first in both U.S. Priority and Original U.S. Priority Patents and third overall in terms of total issued patents.
The annual rankings recognize the leading law firms securing U.S. utility patents, providing a clear view of patent prosecution performance and year-over-year industry trends.
Foley secured 4,310 patents in 2025, a nearly 3 percent increase from 2024, to achieve the overall third place ranking. The firm serves clients across global markets and economic sectors, advising on patent strategies and delivering business solutions to protect clients’ innovations and brands.
