米格尔·安赫尔·埃尔南德斯·罗莫是一位诉讼律师，其执业领域专注于民事、商事、仲裁及破产程序。 自1961年起，米格尔便以法律教授及实务专家的双重身份活跃于法学界。他曾担任母校自由法律学院院长，并作为美国法学会成员主持跨国破产项目，担任该项目主席及联合报告人。其在墨西哥民法、商法及程序法领域发表多篇学术论文，更以法学院在读期间所有科目满分的优异成绩，成为该校有史以来唯一获颁埃米利奥·拉巴萨奖的学生。
