Emily Ostreich is an associate in Foley’s Intellectual Property Department. She is based in the Tampa office where she is a member of the firm’s Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Practice Group and Fashion, Apparel & Beauty Industry Team.
Emily provides strategic counseling to brand owners on trademark, trade dress, and copyright matters, including guiding clients through clearance, prosecution, enforcement, portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting, licensing, and risk mitigation. She is also experienced with handling domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), as well as representing clients in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and in federal court.
Working with clients across a broad range of industries — including food and beverage, fashion, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, fintech, manufacturing, and health care — Emily brings a practical and informed perspective to intellectual property protection.
Emily previously served as an intern in the Organized Crime and Gang Section at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia and as a summer associate in Foley’s Chicago office.
