Michael Gay is managing partner of Foley’s Orlando office. He is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property Litigation Practices.
Mr. Gay handles a variety of commercial disputes, including restrictive covenant litigation, patent and trademark litigation, environmental litigation, health care litigation and contract disputes.
Prior to joining Foley in 1995, Mr. Gay practiced in Houston, Texas, as a commercial trial lawyer.
Mr. Gay graduated from Duke University (J.D., with honors, 1990) and Tulane University (B.S., electrical engineering, 1987). Mr. Gay was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1990 and The Florida Bar in 1992.
Mr. Gay has been Peer Review Rated as AV® Preeminent™, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system and has been recognized multiple times in the past by his peers as one of Florida's Legal Elite™ in Florida Trend magazine.
