Lacktman, Ferrante, Wein Quoted in mHealth Intelligence About CMS Proposal Allowing Doctors More Latitude to Use Remote Patient Monitoring

Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, chair of Foley’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, was quoted in the mHealth Intelligence article, “CMS Proposal May Give Docs More Room to Use Remote Patient Monitoring,” about a new CMS proposal to tweak reimbursement guidelines for remote patient monitoring in the 2020 Physician Fee Schedule. The move could open the door to more Medicare coverage for mobile health services.
“The CMS proposed rule advances the ability of RPM services to drive revenue and improve the patient care experience,” Lacktman said.
