Washington, D.C. Office managing partner Scott Fredericksen was interviewed on CNN’s “Situation Room” about whether President Trump will feel more pressure to pardon his former campaign manager Paul Manafort if he is moved to Rikers Island Jail in New York city where he may face charges in New York. Manafort had previously been convicted on federal charges as part of Robert Mueller’s Russian investigation and has been imprisoned in a minimum security prison in Pennsylvania.
Fredericksen told CNN that Trump will likely feel more pressure from Manafort’s supporters to pardon him while he is sitting in Rikers.
