Public Affairs Director Jason Childress has been elected vice president of the Association of Wisconsin Lobbyists, an association for government relations professionals in the state.
Childress, a seasoned government affairs professional who counsels corporations, nonprofits and trade groups on all aspects of state and local government advocacy and procurement, will serve a one-year term as the association’s second-in-command, after which he will be up for election as president.
The association’s mission is to enhance the integrity of the profession and to promote understanding of the importance of advocacy in the democratic process.
