Partner Nathaniel Lacktman was quoted in a Pittsburgh Business Times article, “Telemedicine Bridging Gap Between Doctor, Patient,” on August 5, 2016. The article discussed how telemedicine is helping patients in remote parts of states access medical expertise of specialists.
Lacktman was quoted saying, “We are seeing a proliferation of innovative arrangements among our health care clients – not only hospitals and health systems, but entrepreneurs as well. This is due not only to the on-demand convenience and responsiveness of telehealth, but also to expanded reimbursement opportunities over the last few years. At this rate of deployment, we envision the word ‘telemedicine’ to become simply ‘medicine’ within the next decade.”
