Partner John Birmingham was quoted in an article in Human Resource Executive on January 29, 2014 titled “Obama: Fill the Skills-Shortage Gap.” The article discusses the new plans President Obama unveiled to increase the nation’s supply of skilled workers during the State of the Union Address. Birmingham was quoted saying, “I think it’s the right idea — right now there is a serious gap between what my manufacturing clients need and the availability of skilled labor in the workforce.”
