On September 7, 2011, Jorge Granados, a former senior executive of Latin Node Inc., a Miami-based telecommunications company, was sentenced to 46 months in prison, to be followed by two years of supervised release for bribing government officials in Honduras. In May of 2011, Granados pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the anti-bribery provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. See our prior post for more detail.
