Agenda

As companies grow, and throughout their growth cycle, companies often seek ways to "cut corners" in order to get to the next milestone. Growth companies make difficult decisions based on time constraints and financial pressures but often do not understand the potential consequences.

Cutting corners could result in the loss of intellectual property, company value and/or control, having the wrong personnel or having the personnel in the wrong positions, fines and penalties, quality control issues, and other harms to the company.

Our group of industry veterans will discuss their experiences and thoughts on "cutting corners," the hidden "costs" of doing so and alternatives to cutting corners that address the company's concerns. In addition, you will hear tips on how to and where to save on costs, time and other resources, and how to address and remedy these "costs" once they have been identified so you do not come up short where it matters most.

Panelists include:

  • Matt Miller, VP and Deputy General Counsel, Groupon
  • Larry Cotter, CEO, HighSchoolCube.com
  • Josh Damon, CFO, Networked Insights
  • Nick Kiernan, Vice President of Marketing & Business Development, TrafficCast

There is no cost to participate in this program; however, pre-registration is required. For additional information contact Katie Egan at kmegan@foley.com.

Following the panel discussion is a networking cocktail reception.
