The Beyond Soccer Series event, hosted at Foley & Lardner LLP’s New York office, addressed possible opportunities for positive social influences regarding the sport. The event took place following the global announcement that Canada, Mexico, and the US would be jointly hosting the 2026 World Cup.

Panelists included a variety of well-respected industry speakers from all three countries, and topics included ways to engage local communities during the games to get the most return, how to encourage and assist in generating successful opportunities for youths, and how to build and solidify a legacy nationwide based on insight gained from personal experience and careers within the soccer industry.
