Gardere Ranks No. 24 on Law360's 'Top 100 Firms for Minority Attorneys' List

Law360 released its "Top 100 Firms for Minority Attorneys" list, ranking Gardere No. 24 in the U.S. and the only Texas-based law firm named to the top 25. The rankings were based on firms' minority representation at the partner and non-partner levels, and their total number of minority attorneys. Almost every firm in the Top 100 exceeded the overall average among U.S. law firms of 14 percent minority attorneys and 8 percent minority partners.

To compile the list, Law360 surveyed 289 U.S. firms, or vereins with a U.S. component, about their overall and minority head count numbers as of Dec. 31, 2014. Firms are ranked based on three factors: 1) the percentage of partners, both equity and non-equity, who are minorities; 2) the percentage of non-partners who are minorities; and 3) the number of minority attorneys at the firm.
