The article discussed how widespread government data surveillance practices are likely to increase costs for cloud computing and other technology companies. Overly, who has represented cloud providers to establish a presence in other countries because of concerns about spying, was quoted saying, “As the Snowden documents have shown, the U.S. government has a long arm when it comes to data monitoring and collection.”
