New York Times
Special Counsel Eric Berg was quoted in a New York Times article, “Justice Dept. Appeals Ruling in Apple iPhone Case in Brooklyn,” on March 7, 2016. The article discussed the legal battle with Apple and the Justice Department (DOJ) to unlock a drug dealer’s iPhone. Most recently, the DOJ is seeking to appeal the latest ruling to decrypt the iPhone. Berg was quoted saying, “The government certainly believes they have a very strong set of facts in San Bernardino.” He continued to explain that the Brooklyn case, on the other hand, “muddies the waters for them in what they’re trying to do.”
