Lacktman Quoted on Telemedicine Payment Parity

25 March 2016 Politico News
Partner Nathaniel Lacktman was quoted in a Politico article, “De Salvo: ONC ‘Making Progress’ on Interop Roadmap,” on March 25, 2016. The article discussed a Massachusetts bill that would force insurers to pay for telemedicine visits at the same rate they do for in-person treatment. Lacktman was quoted saying, “By including payment parity, it definitely does inhibit the short-term savings for a health plan.” He continued to explain that state-mandated coverage is a better option.
