The article discussed a new incentive program announced by the Department of Justice’s fraud unit to underscore the importance of board engagement on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance. Simon said the incentive to cooperate made companies more willing to pursue costly and disruptive internal investigations before bringing information to the DOJ.
