12 September 2017 News

According to the BTI Litigation Outlook for 2018, corporate counsel rank Gardere in the top 20 percent of all law firms for intellectual property litigation.

Now in its seventh year, the BTI Litigation Outlook analyzes client spending, goals, priorities and needs with direct feedback from clients on more than 225 individual law firms. This research is independent and unbiased – no law firm or organization other than BTI sponsors this study, and it is based solely on client feedback.

Each year, BTI reaches out to a strategically designed group of top legal decision makers at large organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue to compile their data. The organization targets the decision makers in the industries who spend the most on legal affairs, as well as thought leaders, chief legal officers, chief legal operating officers and business executives who hire and influence the selection of law firms.

The Gardere IP litigation team includes professionals with technical training and practical industry experience in a wide variety of engineering and science disciplines, including physics, biophysics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and mechanical engineering.

As a full-service firm, Gardere guides clients through the processes for procurement, protection and enforcement of patent, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property assets, while at the same time supporting seamless access to award-winning Gardere lawyers in other areas of law.
