Labor and employment attorney Carrie Hoffman spoke with Bloomberg BNA on the nuances of developing an effective sexual harassment training program for businesses of all sizes.
“It’s important not to be rolling out the same program year after year,’’ said Hoffman. “Use different presenters and different templates, and do not read the policies out loud. Use real-world examples and new and different hypotheticals. It has to be fresh every year. Otherwise, it’s just a checkbox exercise.”
