Foley’s Sports Industry Team Successfully Hosts Let’s Go to the Game

In January 2018, the Foley & Lardner Sports Industry Team hosted a roundtable event in the firm’s New York office, Let’s Go to the Game: Using Technology to Sell the Live Game Experience in Professional and Collegiate Sports. Facilitated by presentations from Joe Choti (President & CEO, Tickets.com & ProVenue) and Chris Heck (President, Philadelphia 76ers), over 30 guests from across the sports industry — including team executives, representatives from technology companies, and investors in technology — participated in a spirited discussion addressing the latest technological trends in event ticketing and the immersive in-arena fan experience. The group discussed the latest innovations and prospective developments in electronic ticketing platforms and in-arena technologies designed to enhance the fan experience, drive attendance at stadiums and arenas, and leverage revenue opportunities.
