Jaime Dorenbaum is an associate and litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He offers experience in representing clients facing state and federal criminal charges. Mr. Dorenbaum has also represented clients indicted on RICO charges. He is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practices.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Dorenbaum was an associate with a boutique criminal defense law firm in Palo Alto, CA. Mr. Dorenbaum completed an externship at the Office of the Public Defender Santa Clara County, and he served as a summer clerk with San Mateo County Counsel.
In 2011, Mr. Dorenbaum was a summer associate at a large international law firm. He also served as a summer intern for United States Congress Representative Nancy Pelosi in 2006 and 2007.
Mr. Dorenbaum earned his law degree from Stanford Law School (J.D., 2012), where he was awarded the Stanford Criminal Defense Fellowship. He was a member of the Stanford Latino Law Students Association (SLLSA) and volunteered for the Immigration Pro Bono Legal Services Program at Community Legal Services of East Palo Alto.
Mr. Dorenbaum obtained his undergraduate degree in history, with a concentration in Latin American studies, from Cornell University (B.A., cum laude, 2009). He received multiple Dean’s List accolades and graduated with distinction in all subjects.
Mr. Dorenbaum is admitted to practice in California and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
