Stephen J. Szabo III is a partner and real estate business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He focuses his practice on the areas of commercial real estate; golf course, marina, recreation, and resort development law; leasing and finance; commercial lending; and state taxation. Steve is counsel to large residential developers of both high-end condominium projects and planned unit developments as well as assisted living communities. He also works for owners/developers of apartment complexes and shopping centers and has extensive experience representing lenders on multi-state loan transactions. Steve is a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice and its Hospitality & Leisure and Health Care Industry Teams.
Education
Steve received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School in 1990 and received his B.A., cum laude, with honors in economics from Kenyon College in 1983.
