Overview

Aaron R. Wegrzyn (pronounced “Way Grin”) is a litigator in the firm’s Consumer Law, Finance & Class Action Practice Group. He assists clients with a range of complex litigation matters, including cases before Wisconsin state courts and federal courts across the country.

Aaron regularly represents defendants in class action litigation against claims ranging from antitrust to ERISA to RICO. His experience includes successfully moving to dismiss class allegations, defeat class certification, and exclude expert witness testimony under the federal Daubert standard. Aaron also defends clients with respect to FCRA and FDCPA claims filed in federal court. His pro bono work has included representing low-income individuals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Court of Appeals

Clerkship/Government Service

Prior to joining the firm, Aaron served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael B. Brennan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. While in law school, he interned with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, assisting with prosecutions of homicides and sex offenses.
