Partner Matthew Smith spoke at the 2013 Intellectual Property Law Spring Seminar titled “Get Expert Advice on the Latest Changes in IP Practice” hosted by the Institute of Continual Learning Education on March 25. Mr. Smith participated in a panel called “The Nuts and Bolts of Practicing Under the AIA: An In-House and Private Practitioner’s Takeabout” about the impact of the America Invents Act (AIA) and how to best use AIA procedures to a client’s advantage.
