The judges offered insight into how the amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure may affect the management of patent cases; claim construction in the PTAB and the courts; and ethical considerations in view of amendments to the Federal Rules and the PTAB rules. The program also offered perspectives on damages in patent cases. A panel of noted law professors, moderated by Ed Haug, President of FCBA, addressed hot topics in patent law.
