Fireside Chat with Mara Aspinall: Health Care Pioneer and Leading Industry Executive

Ms. Aspinall is a pioneer in the health care industry, which has led her to many successful and exciting ventures. These include her current role at Health Catalysts, a firm dedicated to the growth of new health care companies, and her position as executive chairman of GenePeeks, a computational genomics company.

At Ventana Medical Systems, she substantially grew revenue, profit, and market share. Prior to that, she spent 12 years as president of Genzyme Genetics and Genzyme Pharmaceuticals, where they set the standards for quality in the diagnostic industry in prenatal and cancer testing.

Ms. Aspinall is passionate about educating the health care community on the importance of diagnostics, genomics, and personalized medicine. She recently founded the International School of Biomedical Diagnostics at Arizona State University, the first school dedicated entirely to Diagnostics as an independent study.
