Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the Firm’s internet, e-commerce and technology practice, will present “Legal Ethics in Helping Clients Do Business on the Internet in the Midst of Cyber Turmoil” at the upcoming Dallas Bar Association Friday Clinic.
In order to sell goods and services on the internet, each website requires the appropriate legal terms, including terms of service (ToS), click agreements and privacy policies. This presentation will cover the ethical issues associated with cyber risks surrounding contracts and privacy laws. Internet jurisdiction will also be discussed.
