Special Edition of the Advanced Anti-Bribery Boot Camp Features Gardere Partners

Gardere, with partners Charles E. Meacham and James G. Munisteri, as well as Chediak Advogados and the Institute for Compliance Research and Education – CPEC, bring to you the 5th Annual Advanced Anti-Bribery Boot Camp in Sao Paulo. This year’s event is a very special edition, for it will be conducted by Hui Chen, who until very recently was the first-ever compliance counsel expert for the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section of the U.S. Department of Justice.

This two-day intensive workshop will walk you through the critical elements of developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program, in line with applicable laws and regulations (FCPA, UKBA, Brazilian Anti-Bribery Act, etc.) to mitigate anti-corruption risks within your organization. It will also cover anti-bribery risk assessments, program reviews, internal investigations, how to respond to probes by enforcement authorities, and related challenges. 

The workshop will be conducted by Chen and moderated by a group of seasoned compliance experts, who will facilitate interactive sessions and case studies, during which facilitators and attendees will share practical advice, strategies and best practices.
