Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, Chair of the firm’s Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, and Senior Counsel Adam Hepworth, member of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, will be speaking at this year’s American Telemedicine Association (ATA) EDGE Policy Conference, taking place in Washington, D.C. Nathaniel Lacktman’s session will take place on Tuesday, December 7^th at 3:35 p.m. EST and is titled, “Safe Access to Treatment: Ensuring Appropriate Treatment and Protecting Our Patients Through Online Perscribing.” Attendees of this session will hear updates in online prescribing, including the Ryan Haight Act and special registration, and how we can help ensure appropriate, effective treatment that protects patients. Fellow panelists include Zack Gray (Co-Founder & CEO of Ophelia), Ankit Gupta, MS (Founder and CEO of Bicycle Health), and Courtney Hunter (VP of Public Policy and Advocacy at Crisis Text Line).

Adam Hepworth’s session will take place on Tuesday, December 7^th at 4:20 p.m. EST and is titled, “Medicaid Overview.” He will be joined by Adam Davison (Director, Global Policy & Communications at Babylon), Adimika Arthur (Executive Director of HealthTech for Medicaid), Andrey Ostrovsky, MD, FAAP (Former Chief Medical Officer, U.S. Medicaid Program and Managing Partner at Social Innovation Ventures), and Stuart Portman (Senior Health Policy Advisory for the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance).
