Foley Of Counsel Mark Neuberger authored an article that appeared in TLNT on January 12, 2011 titled “Handling Workplace Violence: What You Need to Know Before it Happens.” Neuberger discusses the dimensions of workplace violence, stating that employers can minimize the prospect of violence if employees identify, acknowledge and respond appropriately to behavior that may be a precursor for incident. He adds that an effective strategy for preventing workplace violence should include management commitment and employee involvement, work site analysis, hazard prevention and training.
