Earlier this week, Foley hosted over 240 attendees in Boston at our 9th annual FOLEYTech Summit, titled Envision the Future: Today’s Approach to Tomorrow’s Solutions. The Summit focused on how collectively entrepreneurs, private equity investors, venture capitalists, attorneys, accountants, board members and community resources can successfully grow technology companies, specifically in the Health Care IT, Big Data and Next Generation Manufacturing industries.
In addition to industry focused breakout sessions, we had three amazing keynote speakers:
- Jeff Mortimer, Director of Investment Strategy at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, gave the crowd a nuanced overview of the interaction between the economy, the stock market, and what that means for timing transactions for technology companies.
- Scott Savitz of Data Point Capital shared his ABC’s for success based on his experience as the founder and former CEO of Shoebuy.com.
- Dharmesh Shah, HubSpot’s co-founder and CTO, shared valuable insights on how important fostering workplace culture is to growing businesses.
