IP Counselor Brings International Experience to Firm’s New York Office.
Foley announced today that Jeffrey H. Greene has joined the firm as a partner and a member of the Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Practice in the New York office.

Barner, chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. “Jeff’s extensive experience protecting the brands of Fortune 100 companies will be of great value to Foley in servicing its clients across various industries in New York, nationally and internationally.”
Greene counsels his clients on all aspects of securing, protecting, enforcing and managing trademarks and copyrights, including selection, clearance, prosecution, litigation, licensing, unfair competition and trade dress. He provides counsel on issues relating to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and financings, and strategic direction regarding global portfolio management. His clients include domestic and foreign companies in industries such as financial services, consumer products, alcoholic beverages, retail, media and publishing, software, e-commerce, advertising and the Internet.
He joins Foley from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in New York. Prior to joining private practice, Greene worked in the Legal Affairs Office at Citibank, N.A., where he assisted the Trademark Unit with the prosecution of foreign and domestic trademark applications, oppositions and infringement actions.
Greene serves on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, the 2008 Annual Meeting U.S. Programs Committee and the 2008-2009 U.S. Roundtables Project Team of the International Trademark Association. He regularly speaks on clearance and prosecution issues at an annual ALI-ABA trademark conference.
