Foley Partner Russell Beck was quoted in an article titled “Mass. Superior Court rules non-compete enforceable out-of-state” in the May 18, 2009 issue of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Beck speaks on the decision handed down in EMC Corp. v. Donatelli stating that Massachusetts non-compete provisions can be enforced in states that have statutory provisions against them, adding that the decision provides much-needed guidance in the area of non-competes.
