Foley Partner and co-chair of the Life Sciences Industry Team Judith Waltz was quoted in an article titled “Pfizer agrees to post physician information” in the September 21, 2009 issue of Medical Practice Compliance Alert. Waltz discusses the corporate integrity agreement signed by Pfizer requiring it to report physician payments to the government and on its website, as well as the expected increase in vendor relationship scrutiny that will result from the agreement. She remarks that these relationships are necessary for education and research, but adds that they will be more modest than in the past.
