Foley Partner Gordon Davenport was quoted in an article titled “The hard questions” in the November 8, 2009 issue of Corporate Report Wisconsin. Davenport discusses the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s decision in Plenco v. Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, stating that the case is a significant decision for Wisconsin companies in terms of the amount of insurance coverage that they will have available to them for long-term claims. He adds that the decision might make insurance companies more anxious to exclude certain coverages because the risk is too great.
