Partner Peter Vogel Discusses FTC, Consumer Satisfaction with E-Commerce Times

E-Commerce Times spoke to Gardere Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the Firm's Internet, eCommerce and Technology Industry Team about whether the Federal Trade Commission's "mandate to protect consumers" covers the "resolution of a video game's story line."
"Its consumer protection division includes entertainment and ratings on video games," Mr. Vogel said. "I think many people would be surprised at the areas that they consider important in terms of consumer protection. The FTC charter is, after all, to protect consumers, which is very broad."
