Partner Jessica Lochmann was quoted in an article that appeared in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on March 16, 2013 titled “Conflict region mineral rule could prove costly for manufacturers.” Lochmann discussed a federal rule that requires publicly traded companies to disclose the use of conflict minerals, stating that the SEC will likely feel pressure to bring enforcement actions against companies that do not comply with the processes of the rule. She added that the rule increases corporate social responsibility to a degree previously unrealized by most businesses.
