Boston Partner Gabor Garai was quoted in a Boston Globe article published on August 17, 2013 titled “Some wonder how long Mass. IPO party can last.” The article discusses how long the Massachusetts IPO party can last despite the fact the biotechnology industry remains on track for its best year for initial public offerings since at least 2007. Mr. Garai was quoted saying, “There’s definitely lots of conversations with bankers and companies contemplating IPOs about the timing. Some people are accelerating their plans to go public because they don’t know how much longer the window is going to be open.”
