Foley is pleased to announce that Nancy Sennett, a Litigation Partner and former Milwaukee office Managing Partner, has been selected as a recipient of the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee’s Equal Justice Medal in recognition of her distinguished volunteer lawyer commitment to the organization’s mission.
Sennett also contributes to the community as an active board member of The Greater Milwaukee Committee, Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Tempo, and Rotary. Additionally, she is a founding board member of ABCD, Inc. and the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum.
The Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee was founded in 1916 “to do all things necessary for the prevention of injustice.” Each year the Society provides free legal services to 8,000 of Milwaukee’s most vulnerable residents: abused and neglected children, developmentally disabled adults, persons living with HIV/AIDS, battered women, immigrants, elderly, prisoners, mentally ill, physically impaired, unemployed, and homeless – all of whom are too poor to afford legal counsel.
