Wegner Quoted on Silicon Valley's Frustration With USPTO

Partner Harold Wegner was quoted in The Hill on February 4, 2014 in an article titled “Frustration mounts in Silicon Valley.” The article discusses how lobbyists for the tech industry say the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is already understaffed and underfunded and are questioning why the White House has let the director position sit vacant for more than a year. Wegner was quoted saying, “The headless Patent Office is now poorly positioned for several critical measures that require the gravitas of a senior executive.”
