Partner Larry Vernaglia was quoted in a Modern Healthcare article, “Key Justices Hard to Read in King v. Burwell Arguments,” on March 4, 2015. The article provided an analysis after the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments in King v. Burwell, which involves the language around subsidies in The Affordable Care Act. Vernaglia said that deciding that the law is ambiguous would be, “a way to resolve the case, but also would be an unfortunate outcome if the court wants finality, which it appears they do.”
