Texas Lawyer featured Gardere's performance during the 2014 fiscal year. The publication highlighted the Firm's $143 million in gross revenue (an increase of 1.4 percent from 2013), mostly generated by the strong litigation, real estate, corporate and international practices. Additionally, Texas Lawyer made mention of the Firm's corporate and M&A sections closing 78 deals worth $7.24 billion along with a $28 million jury verdict litigation victory.
But not to be overshadowed, one of the biggest highlights of the year: the Firm's decision to strengthen its relationship with clients in Mexico City and Latin America by entering into an agreement with its historically operated joint venture Arena y Asociados – changing it from separate legal operations to a wholly owned subsidiary of Gardere.
"I call it solid – that's the word," said Gardere Chair Holland N. O'Neil about the Firm's performance. "It was solid performance across the board."
